Private Automatic Branch Exchange, is an automatic telephone switching system used within private enterprises. The advantage for enterprises in using PABX/PBX; is of the benefit they receive through using a single network for voice and data. This has proven to be cost effective, since PABX systems have become a lot cheaper and more affordable for most businesses.
Depending on the PABX brand, it is important to get information about the features included in the system, more especially with those you feel are most suited for your enterprise. Some of the add-ons being; voicemail, call waiting, forwarding, speed dialing, conference calling, to name a few.
